Key responsibilities for the Enterprise Head of Business Development include turning ambiguous problems into clear commercial paths, with a strong emphasis on scope, milestones, success metrics, and risk posture. The role demands an individual with executive presence and credibility, capable of engaging with senior leaders across various functions. A portable network and credibility in relevant verticals such as manufacturing, industrial operations, utilities, energy, and logistics are essential. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, able to influence the go-to-market engine, and be prepared for a high level of autonomy and accountability.
