Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to join our team in a part-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will oversee the company's financial strategy and operations during a transitional period, ensuring stability, accuracy, and forward momentum. Day to day responsibilities include developing and managing financial plans, monitoring cash flow, and guiding budgeting processes to support business objectives. You will review, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to executive leadership, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant standards. Beyond reporting, you will lead financial reporting processes, support decision making with data driven insights, and collaborate with internal stakeholders on cost optimization, risk management, and strategic initiatives. You may also supervise finance staff, refine financial policies, and support preparations for audits or investor relationships as needed.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a seasoned finance leader with strong expertise in financial planning and a proven track record of guiding strategic and operational financial decisions. You should be proficient in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders, with advanced analytical skills to assess performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Experience in senior financial leadership roles is essential, preferably as a CFO, Interim CFO, or equivalent within a chemicals or manufacturing environment. You should have a deep understanding of GAAP, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance best practices. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross functional teams in a remote setting. You should also demonstrate a proven ability to work part time in a dynamic environment, managing priorities and delivering results within defined timelines. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required, and an MBA, CPA, or similar credential is strongly preferred.
