Hours:

Do you excel in managing accounts receivable, ensuring billing accuracy, and maintaining smooth client communications? We are seeking a Billing Specialist for an 8-month contract in Shelton, CT. This fully on-site role emphasizes accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing, with client interactions primarily conducted via email. Key Responsibilities:
(How You’ll Contribute):Accurate Invoicing: Process customer billing accurately and on time, reviewing invoices, purchase orders, and contracts to ensure precise information. AR & Collections Support: Oversee accounts receivable, manage billing inquiries, and handle minor cash application tasks as needed. Client Communication: Clear billing discrepancies and answer customer inquiries—primarily via written email correspondence, with occasional phone follow-ups. Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Sales and Finance teams to align on specialized billing requirements and support month-end reporting needs. Record Maintenance: Maintain fully organized, compliant billing records and documentation to streamline audits and financial reviews.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
2+ years of administrative, billing, or accounts receivable experience preferred.
Key Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with MS Excel. Detail & Accuracy: Outstanding attention to detail with a proven ability to catch discrepancies in high-volume documentation. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially for professional, email-based client correspondence. Organization: Top-tier organizational and time management skills to handle daily billing routines and month-end deadlines seamlessly.
