About the role
Ariga builds Atlas, the database reliability platform that lets engineering teams automate schema changes safely - the way the rest of the infrastructure stack got automated. Atlas started as a popular open-source project and is now trusted by leading companies to manage schema changes at scale: safer migrations, compliance controls, continuous monitoring, and visibility across every database they run. As AI agents write more code and ship schema changes faster than humans ever could, the database becomes the riskiest part of the pipeline. Atlas is the guardrail - an AI-native reliability layer built for teams shipping at machine speed. We're post-Series A, backed by top-tier investors, with a developer-led foundation to sell from and a fast-growing market ahead of us. We're looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to build our sales motion from the ground up.
What you'll do:
- Own and execute the end-to-end enterprise sales and upsell funnel
- Build trusted relationships with both developers and executives to establish credibility and unlock growth
- Partner with CTOs, engineering and IT leaders, and technical end users to drive adoption and expand usage
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities and build the plans to win them
- What you bring 5+ years of quota-carrying software sales to enterprise and engineering/IT leaders, as the primary point of contact
- Experience selling cloud-native, database, monitoring/observability, or security products to technical buyers
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on, self-directed approach
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent spoken and written English
Nice to have:
Experience selling an open-source or open-core product Familiarity with developer tools, DevOps, or database technologies Why ArigaYou're early enough to shape how we scale, but you've got a proven sales motion and real revenue behind you. Your job is to turn that into a category-defining enterprise business. The market's moving fast, and the problems we solve hit at 2am, when a migration fails and it's someone's outage, someone's weekend. The impact is real, and so is the upside.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
