Manufacturing Engineer Mocksville, NC Area (open to relocation)
Salary: $85,000-$110,000+ (flexibility for exceptional candidates)Our client is a global manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced machining operations within a large-scale manufacturing facility. This position will play a key role in process improvement, capital equipment implementation, tooling development, manufacturing projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting machining environments and working closely with production, engineering, and operations teams.
Responsibilities: Lead manufacturing projects from concept through implementation Develop and improve machining and manufacturing processes Support capital equipment selection, installation, and commissioning Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives Develop manufacturing documentation, workflows, and process standards Partner with engineering, operations, suppliers, and quality teams to improve performance Support new product introduction and process development activities Promote safe manufacturing practices and operational excellence
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline Manufacturing engineering experience in a machining environment and/or supporting machining operations preferred Recent engineering graduates with strong machining, manufacturing, design, capstone, Formula SAE, Baja, robotics, machining lab, CNC, or senior project experience are also encouraged to apply Knowledge of CNC-based manufacturing processes Experience with tooling, fixtures, process development, or manufacturing projects Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances Experience with CAD software and manufacturing technologies Excellent communication and project management skills
