About the role
TMC is a fast-growing metrology company delivering ISO 17025 accredited calibration, dimensional inspection services, and advanced 3D scanning solutions across Canada. We work with manufacturers who need speed, accuracy, and flexibility. Offering solutions that are often faster, more portable, and more cost-effective than traditional systems. We’re now expanding into Alberta and looking for a high-performance business development professional to build this region from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
Prospect and develop new business across Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton, surrounding industrial regions)Sell:3D scanning systems (Scanology lineup)Dimensional inspection servicesISO 17025 calibration services Book and run product demos (with support from our technical team)Build relationships with manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, and fabrication companies Manage full sales cycle: lead generation → demo → quote → close Maintain a strong pipeline and hit aggressive growth targets
What We’re Looking For:
Previous metrology experience is required (portable arms, laser trackers, 3D scanning, CMMs, etc.)Proven experience in B2B sales or business development (technical or industrial sales preferred)Hunter mentality – you are comfortable with cold outreach and rejection Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and own a territory Willingness to travel within Alberta What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)Build a qualified pipeline within first 60–90 days Close initial service and/or system deals within first 4–6 months Establish TMC as a recognized player in Alberta’s manufacturing ecosystem Why Join TMCHigh-growth company with real momentum Strong technical backend (you’re not selling vaporware)Ability to shape and own an entire region Direct access to leadership and fast decision-making Opportunity to grow into a Regional Sales Lead role
