Neurodiagnostic Technologist Join our healthcare team as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, where you will play a vital role in diagnosing and monitoring neurological conditions. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for patient care and technical excellence to contribute to our mission of delivering the best care for people suffering from neurological illnesses while advancing the field of neuroscience.
Key Responsibilities: Perform neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, and evoked potentials to assist in diagnosing neurological disorders. Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results. Record, analyze, and interpret neurophysiological data for physicians. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and results in compliance with hospital policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience performing neurodiagnostic procedures
  • Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and related medical conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical skills
  • Compassionate patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited neurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent structured education with supervised clinical trainingBLS Certification (can be obtained upon hire)
  • Registered in EEG through ABRET or in NCS through ASET within 3 years from date of hire
  • At least one (1) year experience performing EEG and/or NCS in an outpatient setting, preferred
  • Current ABRET R.EEG T. or other nationally recognized nerve conduction credentials, preferred
