About the role

Job Description: Now hiring 2 Cooks for 1st shift and 2 cooks for 2nd shift at a university dining facility.
Pay: $15.00–$19.00/hour, based on experience1st shift schedule: 5 days a week, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Some flexibility may be needed based on business needs.2nd shift schedule: 5 days a week, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM.Complete your onboarding paperwork, and you can start fast.
What you'll do:
  • Prep and cook food in high volume, from scratch and following set recipes
  • Keep portion sizes, food temperatures, and plate presentation up to standard
  • Follow safe food handling rules and kitchen procedures
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy meal periods
What we're looking for:
  • Previous cooking experience is required
  • Institutional, cafeteria, hospital, school, or banquet kitchen experience is a big plus
  • Comfortable with scratch cooking and large batches
  • Reliable, on time, and able to keep pace during busy periods
