Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and hands-onDistribution Supervisorto lead operations on our 2nd shift team within a large, growing 3PL distribution environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, driving productivity, maintaining safety and quality standards, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading warehouse personnel in a fast-paced distribution setting and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities: Supervise and lead warehouse associates in receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory operations Drive productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to meet customer and operational goals Monitor daily workflow and staffing levels to ensure service expectations are achieved Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a positive work environment Conduct performance evaluations, employee training, and disciplinary actions as needed Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve processes Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate results to management Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle count activities Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and operational execution
Qualifications: 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, or 3PL operations Strong leadership and team development skills Experience managing performance metrics and productivity goals Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Associate's xsgimln or Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
