As a Senior Pharmacy Care Technician, you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am - 5pm. This is a office based-remote role. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month and work remotely (work from home) all other days of the month.
Office Location:
  • Schaumburg, IL - 1600 McConnor Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60173 Training: 100% onsite for initial 2-3 weeks of starting employment
  • If you reside in Schaumburg, IL, you will enjoy the flexibility of an office based-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.
  • This position follows a office based-remote schedule with 1 in-office day per month.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with Clinical Pharmacists
  • Provide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a Clinical Pharmacist when appropriate
  • Outbound calls to CAHPs detractors and MedAdhmembers to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugs
  • Document and track member engagement

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GEDActive and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Beginner level of proficiency with navigating Microsoft Office and a Windows-based environment
  • Reside within commutable distance to Schaumburg, IL office location
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am - 5pmPreferred Qualifications:
  • Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience
  • Experience with Part D claims adjudication
