About the Role: The Non‑Injury Claims Representative (Level 1) is responsible for conducting thorough investigations, verifying coverage, assessing liability and damages, and resolving personal auto claims in alignment with fair claims settlement practices, company guidelines, and applicable state regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough investigations to gather facts and determine coverage, liability, and damages. Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, attorneys, and external partners throughout the claim process. Support leadership with analysis, problem‑solving, and decision‑making that contributes to fair and timely claim settlement. Document claim activities clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner. Follow up on outstanding issues and resolve claim matters promptly. Maintain compliance with state regulations and jurisdictional guidelines. Complete claim assignments accurately and within required timeframes. Meet or exceed internal standards for quality, documentation, and file disposition. Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment while independently managing your own claim inventory.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.1+ year(s) of Personal Auto claims handling experience, including coverage and liability investigations. Non‑Standard Auto experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with JW File Handler is a plus. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Active Arizona or Texas Adjuster License, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
