We are a children's apparel company engaged in licensed and private label business with major retailers across the USA. We are seeking a Senior Graphic Artist to develop seasonal graphic artwork for toddler girls' licensed apparel, creating original graphics, prints, embellishments, and artwork that align with brand guidelines and current trends.
Schedule Primarily on-site in New York, NY, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
Compensation$70,000 to $90,000 per year.
What You'll Do:
The Senior Graphic Artist will develop seasonal graphic artwork for toddler girls' licensed apparel, adapting licensed artwork for apparel while maintaining brand integrity and visual consistency. This role collaborates with Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams to create commercially relevant graphics, and researches trends, competitive products, and market direction to inspire new graphic concepts. The Senior Graphic Artist prepares artwork and colorways for presentations, approvals, and production, reviews samples and strike-offs to ensure artwork is executed accurately, and manages multiple projects and artwork revisions while meeting seasonal deadlines. The role also works closely with internal teams and licensing partners when necessary to secure artwork approvals.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of graphic design experience
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, and print techniques
Ability to interpret and adapt licensed artwork while following brand guidelines
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet seasonal deadlines
Must be located in the New York, NY area
Preferred Qualifications:
Graphic design experience in apparel
Experience creating graphics for children's apparel or licensed products
