Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systemsPerform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspectionsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipmentRepair or replace defective parts, components, and systemsDocument all service work, parts used, and labor accuratelyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentCommunicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors or management Requirements: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty technicianStrong knowledge of diesel engine systems, drivetrains, and electrical componentsProficiency with diagnostic software and mechanical toolsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsValid driver's license required; CDL a plusASE certification or equivalent preferredStrong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-first attitude About Us: Heaths Diesel Service Inc has built a strong reputation in Jacksonville, FL as a trusted name in diesel repair and maintenance.
