National Sales Director – Surgical Solutions | United States Kinara Group are representing a global surgical devices and technology company, spanning sutures, haemostats, hernia mesh, and surgical stapling/device platforms, is looking to appoint a National Sales Director to lead and grow their direct US hospital sales business. This is a growth-focused, individual contributor leadership role, ideal for a senior sales professional who wants to stay close to the business, drive revenue personally, and build out national coverage as the company scales its US presence.
The Opportunity: This organisation has an established global footprint and a broad surgical portfolio used across general surgery, soft tissue repair, and hemostasis. As they push deeper into the US hospital market with a direct commercial model, they need a proven sales leader to own and deliver the national strategy and execution through actively driving new business and key account growth across the country.
What You'll Be Doing: Owning and growing direct sales revenue across US hospital systems, IDNs, and surgical facilities Building relationships with key surgical stakeholders - surgeons, OR/theatre leadership, supply chain, and procurement Developing and executing a national go-to-market strategy across sutures, hemostats, mesh, and stapling/device lines Identifying and closing new hospital accounts while expanding existing relationships Acting as a senior voice of the US market back into global commercial leadership Representing the business at a national level with key opinion leaders and strategic accounts
What We're Looking For: Proven track record of direct sales success in surgical devices - ideally extensive experience in sutures, or wound closure, and related general surgery portfolios Deep experience selling into US hospitals - comfortable navigating OR, procurement, and IDN structuresA senior, self-sufficient sales professional who thrives as an individual contributor in a growth-stage, high-ownership role National-level commercial acumen with the credibility to represent the brand at the highest level Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable building structure and process, not just following it Why This Role High-visibility, national-scope role with real influence over US strategy Backed by a global surgical portfolio and manufacturing capability Genuine growth mandate - this is a build role, not a maintain role
