About the role

Role: Senior Scientist within the DSCS Digital Technologies team focused on developing and deploying automation solutions to enhance pharmaceutical research. Responsibilitiesdesign integrated lab automation systems combining robotics, instrumentation, and software collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate experimental needs into scalable digital workflows lead projects from concept to deployment improve existing platforms for performance and reliability connect lab ecosystems for end-to-end digital data flow support scientists through troubleshooting and training
Qualifications: Ph. D. in Engineering, Robotics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (expected graduation in 2026) M.S. (2+ years relevant experience) B.S. (4+ years relevant experience) Experience in lab automation, programming (Python, C#, VBA, etc.), and understanding of (bio)pharmaceutical R&D, especially in drug substance, drug product, or analytical research.
Preferred skills include: PLC, SCADA, automation hardware, laboratory equipment integration, and familiarity with AI/ML concepts. High-Value: focus on innovative lab automation, digital integration and advanced pharmaceutical development processes ellipt.
