Job Description: Material Handler
Location: Cedar Springs, MI Shift: 3rd Shift Pay: $21/hr
Job Summary:
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Cedar Springs, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us move and manage materials efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized facility.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Material Handler, your core responsibilities will include: Material movement: Move loads and unload inventory using a reach truck or forklift safely and efficiently. Inventory management: Take inventory counts, perform scrap requests, and assist with audits and reporting. Facility upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).In addition, you will also be expected to support your team with multitasking duties and help ensure smooth operations across the facility.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
Experience operating a reach truck or forklift required. Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts. Compliance with GMP: no jewelry, buttons, or nail polish allowed.
Skills:
Concentration: Focused on safety and accuracy while handling materials. Basic math: Perform inventory counts and simple calculations accurately. Multitasking & teamwork: Handle multiple tasks efficiently while collaborating with team members.
