About the role
Extrusion Saw Operator11pm-7am Sunday-Friday (6 Days a week) 8-10 hour shifts Must be able to train on day shift (5am-3pm) and/or (5am-1pm)
Responsibilities:
Review work orders to prepare workflow.
Help Saw Operator load material into heat treat racks.
Verify correct cut length(s) using appropriate measuring tools.
Ensure spacers are properly inserted between layers of extrusion as needed.
Ensure proper piece count per rack is recorded on production report.
Helps Stretcher stack and stretch extrusions, as needed.
Perform duties and responsibilities when assigned or reassigned.
Must wear PPE required for this position (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).Complete trainings as assigned and/or needed for positions.
This position requires: punctuality and excellent attendance, with physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and exposure to extreme temperatures indoors.
Requirements:
Minimum One (1) year experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
Must be able to read tape measure to the accuracy of 1/16".Must have basic safety knowledge, preferably in manufacturing environment.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must possess high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalent.
Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
Must possess the physical abilities to perform all functions and duties of the position at all times, without accommodation(s).Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as assigned and/or as needed.
