Role Description:
This is a part-time, remote Human Resources Manager role. The Human Resources Manager will oversee core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. Responsibilities include advising managers on HR best practices, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. The role also involves assisting with benefits administration, supporting training and development initiatives, and contributing to HR projects that improve employee engagement and retention. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with leadership and remote teams, ensuring consistent HR processes and a positive, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in human resources management, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation. Knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or service industry. Proficiency with HRIS or similar HR systems, and comfort working with spreadsheets, documentation, and digital collaboration tools. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust across remote and onsite teams. Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, remote environment. Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives; familiarity with inclusive and equitable HR practices. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Previous HR leadership or generalist experience is preferred; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
