Quality Inspector FieldBridge Energy seeks a Midland, TX - based Quality Inspector to work for a global energy technology company. We offer weekly pay and benefits.
Pay / Schedule:
$24 - $26/hr (DOE). 2nd shift (7pm - 5:30am) after day-shift training (8am - 6:30pm). 8 10-hour shifts, 3-5 days per week based on plant needs; weekend availability required as needed. Great opportunity for overtime. At $26/hr and 50 hrs per week for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,430.Join a manufacturing team producing flexible pipe systems for onshore oil and gas operations. As Quality Inspector, you will be the focal point for QA/QC on the production floor. You will inspect parts to drawings and specifications, document non-conformances, and drive corrective actions that keep quality first.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to required drawings and prints
- Initiate non-conformance reports on parts and assemblies that do not meet drawing and print specifications
- Ensure manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements
- Initiate corrective action requests for recurring quality issues
- Partner with manufacturing management and process teams to eliminate root causes of quality problems
- Complete, inspect, and distribute quality records and documents; perform specialized testing as required
- Verify tests on components and completed assemblies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a Quality Technician or Inspection role
- Ability to read and correctly interpret prints, drawings, and specifications
- Understanding of defects and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset
- Ability to train on day shift, then transition to 2nd shift (7pm - 5:30am)
- Availability to work weekends as needed
