- Candidates must meet the applicable education and experience requirements, including:
- Bachelor’s degreein Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- One year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
- One year or more of microbiology experienceworking as an MLS.ASCP or AMT certification.

- Successful candidates should also demonstrate:
- Education and science coursework that meet applicableCLIA requirements. In lieu of the education requirements listed above, non-traditional degrees with applicable science credits may be considered when they meet CLIA standards.
- The ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with
- Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) .Proficiency with computers and laboratory technology.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to pass a standardizedcolor-blindness test .Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts based on business needs.
