About the role
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of relevant DSP and/or communications engineering; or Master’s Degree and 6+ years’ experience; or a PhD with 3+ years’ experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced digital signal processing algorithms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communications theory.
- Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, preferably C or C++.Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
- Technical Track – Depth and Breadth:
- Demonstrated experience with several systems and technologies outlined in Technical Competencies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one technical area.
- Maintain working knowledge in a number of other specialization areas.
- Software-defined radios (SDR)
- Digital signal processing theory
- Signal processing algorithm design and implementationC/C++ programmingDSP validation
- Software/hardware implementation, collaboration, and integration
- System requirements analysis and traceability
- Rate conversion, correlation, and filtering
- Revision control tools (e.g., TFS, Git)
