Job Description: NOW HIRING — LEAD RESTORATION TECHNICIANResto Pros of North Boston | North Boston / Middlesex County We are looking for an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who understands the restoration process, takes pride in their work, and can take ownership of mitigation jobs from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing: Lead water mitigation and restoration projects Perform demolition and removal of affected materials Set up, monitor and properly place drying equipment Take accurate moisture readings and maintain complete dry logs Perform and document daily monitoring Handle mold remediation and antimicrobial applications Follow proper containment, HEPA vacuuming and cleaning procedures Take thorough job photos before, during and after work Maintain excellent documentation for insurance claims Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters and project managers Keep job sites clean, organized and safe Identify changes in scope and communicate them promptly Properly load, transport, clean and maintain equipment Help train and oversee other technicians as needed
What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of restoration/mitigation experienceIICRC certification required — WRT preferred; ASD and/or AMRT a plus Strong water mitigation and structural drying experience Mold remediation experience Comfortable with demolition and removal of drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets, etc. Understands moisture mapping, psychrometrics and drying principles Excellent documentation and photo-taking skills Comfortable working with drying equipment and monitoring progress Reliable, organized and able to work independently Good communication skills and professional appearance Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift equipment and perform physical labor when required The Right Person We're looking for someone who doesn't need to be chased to do the basics. You should know that good documentation, moisture readings, dry logs, photos, equipment placement and customer communication are all part of doing the job correctly — and are just as important as the physical work.
