Key Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care across a highly diverse OR service line including Orthopedics/Total Joint, Trauma, Neuro, GYN/Urology, Vascular, and Thoracic specialtiesPerform scrub and/or circulating duties for a broad range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, robotic (Da Vinci Xi), open, and endoscopic casesPerform phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement as a mandatory competency requirement for all RNs in this roleAdhere to universal protocol (time-out) procedures, infection control standards, laser and radiation safety, and proper specimen handling and labelingParticipate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unitFloat to other areas within the facility as neededRequired QualificationsActive, unencumbered New York State RN license — must be in hand at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredMinimum 3 years of Operating Room experienceEPIC electronic health record experience is a hard requirementProficiency in phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement requiredFirst-time travelers are not eligible for this positionCandidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligiblePreferred Experience / SkillsExperience across multiple surgical specialties including Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, and Robotic-assisted proceduresFamiliarity with Da Vinci Xi Surgical SystemExperience with complex cases such as Whipple procedure, craniotomy, endovascular aneurysm repair, and free flap/microvascular reconstructionFlexibility with scheduling; block schedule requests will be considered on a best-effort basisWhy Join UsOpportunity to work across an exceptionally diverse OR environment with exposure to a wide range of high-acuity surgical specialtiesOrientation modules are compensable for up to 5 hours, supporting a smooth transition into the role About Concentric Healthcare StaffingFounded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
