About the role
To support the School of Origin Transportation Program, the full-time Transportation Scheduler will manage scheduling and dispatching drivers, handle urgent transportation requests, and maintain logs while initially training onsite before transitioning to a remote role.
Key responsibilities:
Receive and process last-minute schedule changes and adjust routing in the Route Genie tracking software
Collaborate with the Transportation Manager to resolve service issues and maintain accurate logs of calls and transportation cancellations
Assign drivers to routes, manage student schedules, and respond to transportation-related inquiries from parents and providers
Required qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and data entry
Proficiency in MS Office and dispatch software
Exceptional communication skills and a strong customer service attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
