About the role

Managing conflicts and ensuring ethical compliance, the full-time Licensed Conflicts Counsel will oversee conflicts searching and resolution processes, manage conflicts staff, and collaborate with firm leadership in a remote role available to candidates in select states. Key responsibilities Manage conflicts identification and resolution for new business and lateral intake, ensuring data integrity Supervise and train conflicts staff, addressing performance issues and fostering a collaborative team environment Develop and implement new processes for conflicts checking and onboarding, working closely with firm management Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required; J.D. and state licensure required for Managing Conflicts Counsel 7+ years of experience in conflicts or new business intake within a law firm 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in a conflicts department Proficiency in automated conflicts databases and Microsoft Office applications Strong investigative, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to manage remote teams
