This business operates under a permanent capital model, with a centralized finance structure supporting a portfolio of software assets across the United States and internationally. This is a strong opportunity for a hands‑on accounting leader to join a scaling organization at a pivotal stage of growth. The role offers exposure to a multi‑entity environment, ongoing expansion initiatives, and the ability to help shape the future of the finance function.
About the Role: You will lead core accounting and consolidations across a growing portfolio of software businesses. This role will oversee the month‑end close, financial reporting, and multi‑entity consolidations. The position will play a key role in supporting growth initiatives, enhancing reporting processes, and developing a team. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role with visibility into leadership and the opportunity to influence systems, structure, and scalability as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities
  • Lead consolidated financial reporting across the portfolio
  • Lead the integration of newly acquired businesses into the group's accounting structure and systems
  • Manage and improve multi‑entity consolidation processes
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAPOwn the annual audit and tax compliance, coordinating with external advisors
  • Partner with leadership on financial visibility and performance insights
  • Help build and scale accounting processes to support high growth
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies within a centralized finance model
  • Oversee accounting for international entities, including currency translation and local statutory compliance
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams
  • Lead and develop the accounting team, including an offshore shared services group
  • Ideal Candidate Profile8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong background in multi‑entity accounting and consolidations
  • Experience in software, SaaS, or technology‑driven businesses
  • Proven ability to operate in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience working in centralized or shared services modelsCPAHands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable building processes in a scaling environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across the organization
