About the role
Ultraceuticals Specialist Aveda Institute Indianapolis is a leading beauty and wellness education school dedicated to developing the next generation of industry professionals. The Ultraceuticals Specialist is a dynamic, hands-on role combining professional skincare, sales, education, events, marketing, and guest experience. As the Institute's primary Ultraceuticals resource, this position drives brand growth through personalized skincare experiences, sales, student development, and engaging brand activations. Sales + Skin Experiences Conduct personalized skincare consultations and recommend customized Ultraceuticals home care, treatments, and services. Utilize the Observ 520x skin analysis system to enhance consultations and personalized recommendations. Drive and track retail sales, facial bookings, memberships, rebooking, and guest. Events + Brand Activations Plan and execute engaging Ultraceuticals events and promotional experiences designed to drive attendance, sales, bookings, and brand awareness. Collaborate with students, educators, Guest Care, and leadership to create elevated guest experiences. Track results and identify opportunities to strengthen future. Education + Student Development Serve as an Ultraceuticals resource and sales coach for students and team. Build student confidence in product knowledge, consultations, home care recommendations, treatments, and use of the Observ 520x. Partner with educators to reinforce effective sales techniques and professional skincare. Marketing + Brand Growth Support social media, marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand activations to increase Ultraceuticals visibility and engagement. Maintain an elevated retail presence and encourage engagement with Ultraceuticals and Ultra Skin Services. Qualifications + Ideal Candidate High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree a plus 2+ years of experience in retail, sales, hospitality, customer service, or a related field; a plus Confident, outgoing communicator with strong interpersonal, consultation, and presentation skills Passionate about beauty, skincare, sales, events, marketing, and relationship-building Self-directed, organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable educating and coaching others Why This Role? Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Walk, stand up, and/or sit for up to twelve (12) hours per day
- Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms
- Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear
- See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds
- Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a school environment

Travel Requirements:
The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training and events as necessary.
