Pay: $130,000 to $150,000 per year (base salary) Be the financial partner behind a diverse real estate investment portfolio at one of the most highly regarded investment firms in the world. Must-Haves 5 to 8 years of real estate accounting experience Bachelor of Science in Accounting Strong knowledge of real estate valuation, portfolio operations, and financial reporting Proficiency with fair value reporting and promote calculations General understanding of REITs Process improvement mindset, including use of IT tools and AI
What You'll Do: Oversee fund-level quarterly and annual financial reporting under fair value U.S. GAAP Lead the quarterly close for assigned funds and direct real estate investments Review promote and management fee calculations, including ownership transfers and partial sales Manage fund cash positions and coordinate investor capital calls and distributions Support acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancings with the investment team Review quarterly accounting packages from joint venture partners Coordinate with the fund administrator and facilitate the annual fund audit Respond to investor inquiries and prepare investor deliverables Support valuations and the annual budget process Coach junior team members and drive process improvements, including AI enablement Nice-to-Haves CPA (strongly preferred) Fund reporting or Big 4 public accounting experience Yardi experience Experience with the REIS non-operating fair value model Exposure to retail, life science, senior housing, self-storage, industrial, medical office, or multifamily assets
Compensation and Benefits: $130,000 to $150,000 base salary Strong career development within a growing finance organization
