French Ellison Truck Center, located in Corpus Christi, TX, is currently seeking a talented individual for a Body Shop Advisor position. This position is ideal for someone with related experience, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Primary Duties:
Create a positive initial contact with body shop customersEnsure that all body shop phone calls are handled professionally and expedientlyWork closely with shop foreman to schedule repairsPerform additional duties as required by the Body Shop ManagerPerform all required tasks in accordance with company Standard Operating ProceduresSend professional Estimates to include parts and labor to customers Duties Open work ordersDiscuss service issues with customer and create an accurate description of customer's service problems and requestsDetermine method of payment and explain payment requirements to customer before work commencesMaintain communication with customer as necessary during the repair processMaintain complete knowledge of OEM and vendor warrantiesClose repair ordersAll other duties as assigned Ability to work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elementsWillingness and ability to work up to 12 hours per day as requiredAbility to sell body shop worAbility to work with customers in a variety of situationsGood writing and communication skillsSufficient computer skillsAbility to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to work in an environment to include 8-12 hour days, and flexibility to extend working hours when necessary
