About the role
- 2-3+ years of hands-on Amazon marketplace experience, preferably managing brands or significant portions of an Amazon business.
- Strong working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central; Vendor Central experience is a plus.
- Previous client-facing experience at an agency, consultancy, service provider, or similar environment.
- Ability to lead client conversations independently and communicate credibly with senior brand and ecommerce stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of marketplace performance across sales, traffic, conversion, advertising, inventory, pricing, content, and profitability.
- Enough Amazon Ads knowledge to evaluate performance and collaborate intelligently with media specialists.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort analyzing marketplace data.
- Excellent written communication and the ability to turn complex marketplace issues into concise recommendations.
- Ability to manage your own workload and deliver reliably within a limited weekly time commitment.
- You may be a particularly strong fit if...You've worked at an Amazon or ecommerce agency, managed marketplaces directly for a brand, or currently operate as an independent ecommerce consultant.
- You know your way around Seller Central, but you're equally comfortable getting on a client call and explaining why sales changed, where the biggest opportunity lies, or why a client's proposed tactic may not actually solve the problem.
- You don't need a large team or detailed task list to determine what should happen next.
- Omni Seller's model is consultants who execute. We aren't simply an outsourced task team, and we aren't a strategy consultancy that hands over a PowerPoint and walks away. We help clients determine what to do and then work alongside them to make it happen.
- Role structure
- The ideal candidate has flexibility during normal U.S. business hours for client meetings, with the majority of work completed independently.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
