We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader who understands the entire life cycle of a fund and investment business and has the experience, judgment, and drive to oversee the company from end to end. The Managing Director will be responsible for the overall operation and growth of Finresi — from individual note sales and acquisitions to fund operations, investor relations, marketing, strategy, and execution. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and overall business strategy Managing the full lifecycle of individual note sales, from sourcing and underwriting through disposition Overseeing the fund and ensuring that all aspects of its operation are executed effectively Working closely with our Investor Relations team to develop and maintain strong relationships with investors Working with our external marketing firms to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and capital growth Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, assets under management, and overall company performance Coordinating across acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, fundraising, investor communications, and operations Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, profitability, and scalability Managing key internal and external partners and holding them accountable for results Helping shape the next stage of Finresi’s growth and building the infrastructure necessary to support itIdeal candidates will meet the following requirements: An experienced investment or fund-management professional A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable getting into the weeds and making high-level decisions Entrepreneurial, decisive, and highly accountable Comfortable managing multiple functions and teams simultaneously Experienced working with investors and external partners Highly knowledgeable about the mechanics and economics of running a fund A strong communicator and relationship builder Focused on execution and results rather than simply managing from the sidelines The ideal candidate has end-to-end knowledge of how an investment fund operates, with experience spanning areas such as acquisitions, underwriting, asset management, investor relations, fundraising, compliance, operations, reporting, and dispositions.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
