About the role
I’m partnering with a private investment firm on a confidential search for a Chief Executive Officer to lead an established and highly profitable specialty building products manufacturer through its next phase of growth. The company operates within the structural building products space, with capabilities spanning light manufacturing, engineering/design, and sales. Following a planned ownership transition, the incoming CEO will have the opportunity to lead and professionalize an established business with a strong foundation, experienced team, and significant opportunity for commercial growth. We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially oriented leader who can work closely with the existing management team while strengthening the organization, building out the sales and marketing function, and developing a scalable strategy for growth. The ideal candidate will bring:• P&L leadership experience within manufacturing, building products, construction materials, or a related industrial environment• A strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving organic revenue growth• Experience leading and professionalizing a founder-led, family-owned, or entrepreneurial business• The ability to oversee both commercial and operational functions in a smaller-company environment• Experience building teams, implementing KPIs, and creating greater organizational accountability• Private equity or investor-backed experience is a plus• M&A and integration experience is also a plus This is a highly visible leadership opportunity with meaningful equity participation and the ability to have a direct impact on the trajectory of the business.
