Production Associate Production Dothan, Alabama On-site role; no remote work or travel | Full-time The Production Associate helps prepare and support products used in school buses, mass transit trains and buses, law enforcement vehicles, and locomotives.
Responsibilities: Work with professional individuals on transportation-industry products. Program mobile digital video recorders (MDVRs).Work on electronic boards. Assist the Production Manager in planning and performing production-related activities. Prioritize, plan, schedule, and assist in production activities to meet manufacturing objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner. Identify production issues, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions. Communicate complex issues to the Production Manager for immediate resolution. Develop production plans and schedules to support continuous with logistics strategy to avoid downtime and delays. Assist with production process improvements to improve workflow efficiency. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure manufactured product meets customer production updates and errors to the Production Manager on a regular basis. Generate and provide production-related reports to the Production Manager and customers when needed. Communicate with internal departments professionally via email and in person. Be self-motivated, punctual, professional, and dependable. Experience /
Skills Required: Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Basic mathematical skills. Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy. Ability to work independently and maintain a strong sense of urgency. Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to stand for hours. Ability to lift 50-pound boxes. Preferred Technical skills dealing with electronics and mobile video surveillance equipment.
