About the role

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Data Scientist to join our data and analytics team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and applying statistical and machine learning techniques to generate meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop and evaluate basic statistical and machine learning models. Assist in feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance evaluation. Create meaningful data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Write efficient and maintainable Python/SQL code for data analysis and modeling. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate analytical results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Monitor model and data quality and assist with troubleshooting when required. Stay updated with emerging data science, AI, and machine learning techniques.
Required Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.Understanding of statistics and probability. Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical findings clearly. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
