Production Associate

About the role
Job Description:
Now Hiring: Production Team Member at Little Alchemist LLC
We make traditional Hmong rice noodles (khao piab) and ship them frozen to customers who miss the taste of home. We're a young, growing business looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
We'll be straight with you: this job is hard work. You'll be on your feet for 8+ hours a shift, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and a lot of the work is repetitive. You'll help make noodles, portion and vacuum-seal product, keep things moving in and out of the freezer, pack orders for shipping, and keep the kitchen clean. If you're looking for easy, this isn't it.
But if you're the kind of person who shows up, works hard, and takes pride in doing things right, there's real opportunity here. We're still building, which means the right person won't stay in the same role forever. As the business grows, so do the responsibilities, and we'd rather promote from within than hire from outside.
We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic who doesn't need to be pushed. You should be trainable and open to learning our way of doing things, outgoing and easy to work with, detail-oriented enough to catch mistakes before they reach a customer, and respectful to coworkers, customers, and the work itself. Food safety matters here, so cleanliness and following procedures is a must.
Got other skills? Tell us. Whether it's social media, photography, bookkeeping, shipping and logistics, sales, or something we haven't thought of, if it can help the business, we want to hear about it. Small business means every skill gets used.
Hours: Full-time
Location:
Deer Park, WI
Probation: All new hires complete a 90-day probationary period.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
