Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy pipe skid manufacturing facility. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing production activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, manufacturing experience, and the ability to manage shop personnel, production schedules, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all daily production operations within the pipe skid manufacturing shop
  • Supervise shop personnel, including welders, fitters, equipment operators, and support staff
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer deadlines
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity
  • Monitor workflow and production performance to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
  • Work closely with engineering, project management, purchasing, logistics, and quality teams
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Conduct production meetings and communicate priorities to shop personnel
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, and operational challenges
  • Track labor hours, production metrics, and project progress
  • Review fabrication drawings, work orders, and production requirements
  • Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
