Paralegal Or Legal Secretary We are seeking qualified candidates for a temporary Paralegal or Legal Secretary. Position Responsibilities The selected candidate will assist with a variety of administrative and legal support duties, including: Providing administrative support to the Police Accountability Board and Administrative Charging Committee. Reviewing investigative materials and evidence submitted by the Police Department's Internal Affairs Division for Administrative Charging Committee cases. Drafting opinions for Administrative Charging Committee meetings for committee members to review, revise, and approve. Assisting with meeting preparation, document management, and the maintenance of confidential records. Proofreading meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Supporting various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary. Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills. The ability to review and analyze confidential and sensitive materials. Experience preparing clear, professional, and well-written documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. The ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet established deadlines.
