You will enjoy a supportive work culture that fosters collaboration and encourages continuous development. Our team operates from Monday to Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening and weekend shifts, emphasizing the commitment to meet the mental health needs of our students when necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an LCSW, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of our students, including:Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of students with diverse challenges.Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health concerns and promote integration within the school community.Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to conditions such as ASD, ADHD, emotional/behavioral disorders, and trauma.Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that promote personal growth, emotional self-regulation, and effective coping strategies.Collaborating with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic support to students.Providing crisis intervention and support for individuals in mental health emergencies.Educating students and families about mental health issues and available resources.Maintaining accurate and compliant documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement and up-to-date practices.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will focus on a diverse population of students with special needs who require dedicated mental health support. Our aim is to help them thrive academically and socially, ensuring they receive the necessary interventions to navigate their unique challenges, ultimately contributing to better overall outcomes in both their education and personal development.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.A current and valid LCSW license within the state of Tennessee.Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapies, and trauma-informed care practices.Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.Experience in providing individual and group therapy, employing various therapeutic methodologies.Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the capacity to manage high-stress situations effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with students and colleagues.Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong comfort level with digital tools.A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Preferred ExperienceWhile two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we are open to applicants who show a deep commitment to the field and a strong propensity for learning and growth. Familiarity with special education settings and the challenges students face is also highly valued.Compensation and BenefitsThe position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
