About the role
AVIVA Dermatology is a Private Physician Owned Practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic practice focused on delivering exceptional care to patients. We pride ourselves on cultivating an enjoyable work environment that is inclusive and lighthearted. As the practice continues to grow, we are seeking a full time (4-5 day) dermatologist experienced in treating patients of all ages and skin types. The ideal candidate that is a good-fit for our practice would be described as positive, reliable, down-to-earth and efficient.
Essential Skills & Abilities:
- (included but not limited to)
- Consult, diagnose and treat patients for a variety of dermatological conditions from benign to malignant and from acute to chronic.
- Attention to detail during consultations to educate patients on available treatments and preventative skincare routines/products; refer patients for surgery when necessaryPerform minor and surgical proceduresEnsure timely completion of electronic clinical documentation.
- Ensure accurate coding and billing.
- Timely follow-up with patients as indicated.
- Capable of multitasking and working diligently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with team and patients; excellent bedside manners is a must.

- Be capable of multitasking and working diligently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with the team and patients; excellent bedside manner is a must.
Education & Experience:
- A valid Texas Physician license is required. The license must be in good standing with an unrestricted ability to practice in the place of work, where applicable.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible
- Must be a graduate of an accredited and approved training program in the United States.
- Current State DEA Certificate
- Preferred, 2-3 years experience in Medical, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology
Compensation: Base salary with productivity bonus structure based on experienceCME Allowance
