Transport & Propane Delivery DriverAre you an experienced transport and/or propane delivery driver with a passion for safety and top-notch customer service? Do you have experience hauling gasoline, propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous liquid products? Do you want to be home every evening and get paid the same day you work? If so, Forward Energy wants you on our team! Forward Corporation is a fifth-generation family-owned and operated Michigan company that has been in business for 100 years. Known primarily for its various Shell and Marathon Convenience Stores, Forward's brand portfolio has grown to include many Subway Restaurants, Super 8 Motels, LumberJack Lodge, and The LumberJack Restaurant in West Branch. Forward Corp. also owns and operates Forward Energy, a home-heating business, and T.R. McTaggart, a custom screen print and embroidery business. Forward Corp. is headquartered in Standish, MI, and proudly employs 1,000 Michigan residents across the a Transport & Propane Delivery Driver, you'll safely deliver gasoline, propane, fuel oil, and other petroleum products to commercial and residential customers throughout the mid-Michigan area. This is a full-time, year-round position with stability, competitive pay, and same-day earnings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial transport vehicle for the delivery of gasoline, propane and home heating fuels
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Load, unload, and handle hazardous materials with care
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery and invoicing records
- Provide professional, courteous customer service at every stop
- Communicate with dispatch to report delivery status or issues
- Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations
What You'll Need:
- Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat, tanker endorsements required
- Minimum of 3,000 logged driving hours preferred
- Prior experience delivering gasoline, propane, fuel oil, or hazardous materials
- Strong navigation and time management skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy hoses and equipment safely
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and service
