About the Opportunity:
Sandella Sova is proud to partner with a multi-billion dollar, privately held financial services leader right here in Cleveland. This is a hybrid role. We are seeking a high-caliber Federal Tax Director to join a recently onboarded SVP Tax. This position serves as an integral part of the Federal Income Tax Compliance process, managing a co-sourcing arrangement with a Big Four firm. You'll also help lead the ASC 740 tax provision process. Finally, you'll help influence decisions related to audit, controversy, planning, research, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Federal Income Tax Compliance: Preparation and review for LLCs, partnerships, and corporate entities. Lead the Co-Source: Manage the tax calendar and workpaper systems, in tandem with a Big Four firmASC 740 Reporting: Preparation and review of tax provision filings Strategy: Monitor new legislation, research technical matters, and advise senior leadership
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related 8+ years of experience in industry/public accounting Public accounting Tax experience preferred Experience working in or consulting on multi-billion dollar corporations preferred Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
