Production Assembler – Medical Device Manufacturing Reno, NV | $20–$22/hour DOE | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Assembler to join a growing medical-device manufacturing team in Reno, Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, precision work and takes pride in producing high-quality products. The Production Assembler will build components, subassemblies, and finished products while following detailed work instructions, quality standards, and established manufacturing procedures. Candidates with previous assembly or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply. Experience in medical-device manufacturing, cleanroom environments, or other regulated industries is a plus, but candidates who are dependable, trainable, and highly detail-oriented will also be considered.
What You'll Do:
Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements.
Perform precision assembly including fitting, fastening, bonding, and basic product testing.
Work with small components requiring strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Inspect completed work and identify potential defects or nonconforming materials.
Complete production documentation and Device History Records accurately.
Follow Good Documentation Practices and established quality procedures.
Maintain production goals while consistently meeting quality standards.
Use basic hand tools and manufacturing equipment as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Follow applicable cleanroom and ESD procedures.
Participate in training, process improvements, and manufacturing changes.
Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, and other team members.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous assembly, production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Medical-device, electronics, cleanroom, or precision manufacturing experience is a plus.
Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to follow detailed written instructions and standard operating procedures.
Basic math and documentation skills.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
Physical & Work Environment:
This position works in a manufacturing and potentially cleanroom environment. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing at a workstation and performing repetitive fine-motor tasks. Some work may require magnification or ESD garments.
Candidates must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $20–$22/hour, depending on experience
