About the role
To support the Global Philanthropic Engagement fundraising team, the full-time Prospect Research Analyst II will conduct comprehensive research and analysis on potential donors, providing actionable insights to enhance fundraising strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Conduct research on philanthropic donor prospects, analyzing their history, interests, and giving patterns to support prospect identification and pipeline development
Analyze existing donor portfolios to optimize fundraising efforts and identify untapped philanthropic capacity
Translate data into actionable insights, delivering research reports and donor profiles that inform fundraising strategies and donor engagement plans
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as nonprofit management, fundraising, or data analytics
Three or more years of experience in prospect research or related roles within the nonprofit sector
Robust analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
Proficiency in fundraising CRMs, preferably Salesforce, and data visualization tools like Tableau
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments
