Job Description
Brief Summary:
Based out of a Milwaukee office providing excellent customer service through thequotation of Theatrical products to customers. Daily duties include responding to phone inquiries, reviewingbid documents including written specifications and drawings, traveling to customers’ locations for site visits andmeetings.
Duties:
• Offsite sales calls and customer meetings.• Review of electronic and hard copy specifications and plans as required for public and private bid anddesign build process.• Preparation of estimation spreadsheets, bill of materials and PDF Quotations.• Maintain profitability on quoted and bid projects by correctly estimating material and labor necessary.• Interface with Project Team to ensure seamless transfer of a project from quotation to project status.• File maintenance of spreadsheets and quotation documentation as directed by management.• Respond to web and email requests to develop quotations.• Work as a team with office staff to share product knowledge.
Skills:
• Knowledge of theatrical equipment, practices and procedures are desired.• Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.• Advanced computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word & Bluebeam PDF Software.• Knowledge and ability to read and interpret theatrical, electrical and architectural plans.• Ability to work with or without supervision and make sound decisions based on guidelines established bymanagement.• High degree of professionalism when dealing with customers and co-workers.• Leading workshops for the education of customers in office, on-site or at conventions
