About the role
- Full-Time | MondayFriday$18+/hour, based on experience
- Automatic $0.50/hour increase after 60 days | Additional $0.50/hour increase after 180 days

- Travel to assigned job sites to respond to routine utility locate requests, relocates, and emergency requests
- Use mapping technology, utility records, and specialized locating equipment to identify underground utilities
- Locate and mark underground electric, gas, telephone, telecommunications, and other utility lines
- Clearly mark utility locations using paint, flags, and other approved methods.
- Communicate utility locations and relevant information to excavators, contractors, and other appropriate personnel
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working in the field
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed locate requests
- Participate in after hours on call rotation schedule when applicable
- Drive a company vehicle to and from assigned work locations
- All other duties assigned by manager
- Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude
- Utility Locate and Utility Construction experience preferred but not required
- Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to use a computer, smartphone, and other technology
- Valid driver's license in the applicable state of employment
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned work throughout the day
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when business needs require itWork Schedule
- Monday through Friday Full Time with the possibility of weekend work when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule.
- Drive approximately 50-200+ miles per day, depending on your assigned territory
- Walk approximately 4-6 miles per day over a variety of terrain
- Spend extended periods sitting while driving between job site
- Work outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, and other weather conditions
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work around construction sites and other active field environments
