With over 27 million square feet designed in more than 25 cities across the U.S. and abroad, the firm's portfolio spans residential, hospitality, commercial, arts and culture, and institutional work. In this role, you'll own technical design aspects of large, complex projects and carry design intent from concept all the way through construction.
The Opportunity:
✅ Architect II / Architectural Designer II: Develop design solutions and deliver technical documentation on high-profile, design-driven projects across every phase of the design process✅ Ideal for a designer who pairs strong design sensitivity with technical precision and wants recognizable built work, full project lifecycle exposure, and a path toward greater project leadership What You'll Be Doing✅ Participate in project design and development from concept through documentation, implementing design direction from senior leadership✅ Prepare client design presentations, including concept images, 3D views, rendered elevations, material selections, and presentation decks✅ Support production of Design Development and Construction Document sets, including drawings, schedules, specifications, and project-specific construction details✅ Coordinate with all consultants, manage BIM coordination, and review consultant sets before phase releases✅ Serve as a secondary point of contact for RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence, and maintain RFI and submittal logs✅ Support construction administration, including shop drawing review, site meetings, field reports, punch lists, and record documents at closeout✅ Attend client meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and give technical guidance to less experienced colleagues What You Bring🔷 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field🔷 6+ years of professional architecture experience with a strong portfolio🔷 Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Procore, MS Office, and Bluebeam🔷 Working knowledge of building codes and accessibility requirements🔷 Experience across all phases of the design process, from concept through construction administration🔷 Strong design, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Why This Role🔹 Work on high-profile residential, hospitality, commercial, and adaptive-reuse projects that add long-term value to your portfolio🔹 Gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, not just one narrow phase, alongside experienced architects and senior design leadership🔹 Join a collaborative studio culture with weekly team lunches, firm-wide project presentations, design-focused offsites, and in-house art exhibitions🔹 Competitive compensation and benefits, including PTO, health insurance, a 401(k), professional development incentives, and support for licensure and certifications Interested candidates, please send your resume to jerome@wellsuitedtalent.com.
