Regional Sales Manager – Western USAurality, Inc. | Remote (territory-based, Western US) | Full-time | Extensive travel About Aurality Aurality is a Herndon, Virginia–based medical device company changing how ear impressions are captured. Our flagship product, the Empress3D, is a handheld scanner that creates a direct in-ear 3D scan. It replaces traditional silicone impressions with a faster, cleaner, more accurate digital workflow for audiologists, hearing care professionals and the manufacturers they work with. We're a lean, fast-moving team, and every hire has a direct impact on our growth.
The Role: We're looking for a self-starting hunter to own the Western US territory: all states west of the Mississippi, including Louisiana and Texas. You'll find, demo and close new business with hearing care clinics, often in a single meeting and usually within about 30 days. You'll also recruit and enable channel partners to extend your reach. This is an individual contributor role: you'll be in the field, running your own demos and closing your own deals.
What You'll Do: Prospect, demo and close sales of the Empress3D with audiology practices, hearing aid dispensers, ENT clinics and multi-site hearing care groups across the Western US.Recruit, train and activate distributors and dealers so they actively sell the Empress3D alongside their other lines. Run a short, consultative capital sale: discovery, hands-on demo, ROI conversation, proposal and close. Build and maintain your own pipeline and forecast accurately in our CRM.Represent Aurality at trade shows, conferences and customer events. Work closely with leadership, clinical and product teams to relay customer feedback and support adoption after the sale. Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. What You BringAt least 3 years of recent, quota-carrying capital equipment sales to clinics or practices, ideally in medical, dental, audiology or optical devices. A record of closing deals yourself, with numbers to show for it. Hunter mentality: you generate your own opportunities and are energized by new-logo selling. Experience selling both direct and through distributors or dealers. Comfort running live product demos yourself. Willingness to travel extensively across the Western US and to national events. Based in the Western US.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Sales or clinical field experience in audiology, hearing care or ENT.Experience selling digital scanners or imaging equipment (for example intraoral, ophthalmic or audiology diagnostic systems) into private practices. Existing relationships with audiology practices, hearing aid manufacturers or hearing care networks in the West. Experience introducing new or disruptive technology to a clinical market.
