Job Description: Senior hands-on Network Architect responsible for integrating acquired-company networks into the parent organization's Cisco SD-WAN environment. This role owns discovery, target-state network design, migration planning, automation, field-team coordination, and live site cutovers, with travel required. • Own the network domain end to end for acquired-company integrations. Assess acquired network environments including circuits, carriers, sites, firewalls, wireless, WAN, and IP address space. Design target-state networking aligned with the parent company's Cisco SD-WAN standards. Develop interim VPN/interconnect architecture during coexistence. Identify and resolve overlapping IP address spaces between acquired and parent environments. Design segmentation and network hardening in partnership with security architects. Develop site-by-site migration and cutover plans accounting for carriers, circuits, hardware lead times, applications, and voice dependencies. Migrate environments away from inherited Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Meraki technologies where applicable. Establish Azure network connectivity as workloads transition. Perform hands-on Cisco configuration, staging, troubleshooting, and cutover work. Direct on-site engineers and field technicians during migration events. Define rollback and go/no-go criteria and coordinate production cutovers across sites.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
