Transportation Planning Senior AnalystLocation: Dallas, TX (location is non-negotiable)The Transportation/Supply Chain Operations Senior Analyst executes transportation planning activities including load consolidation, mode shift, and optimization of transportation routes.Key ResponsibilitiesManages tendering and execution of transportation loadsMonitors status updates from carriers (in-transit, appointment, delivered etc.)Proactively communicate and resolve transportation exceptionsProvides customer service to clients and vendors during transportation planning and executionReports and analyzes designated key performance indicators which may include but are not limited to financial, satisfaction and operational metricsLeverages AI-enabled tools and automation concepts to identify process efficiencies, improve transportation visibility, and support faster decision-makingBasic QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of transportation planning experiencePreferred QualificationsTransport Management experience to include inbound and outbound logistics, dispatches, Depot Management, and Freight & Fleet ManagementKnowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to include Oracle and/or Blue YonderExperience in routing, scheduling & consolidation of loads, backhaul operationsUnderstanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes, and business policiesWorking knowledge of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and agentic AI concepts, with interest in applying them to supply chain operations, reporting, exception management, and process optimizationAbility to develop and manage client and carrier relationshipsBachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Operations ManagementProfessional Skills RequirementsStrong relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team memberAdaptable problem solver who can simplify complex tasks and drive efficienciesCuriosity and a continuous-learning mindset toward emerging AI capabilities and their practical use in improving transportation workflowsProfessionalism, confidence, and demonstrated leadership in a professional settingCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
