About the role
- The successful candidate will bring a combination of strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, initiative, and a collaborative approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle general ledger accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with integrated accounting or ERP systems; ERP implementation or system improvement experience is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership skills.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows assignments and projects through to completion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both financial and non-financial team members.
- Collaborative, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
